Made-to-measure brushes

When a standard design does not fit, a brush is made to the unit: from taken dimensions, a drawing or a sample. Offer quality depends directly on how complete the request data is.

Measurement map before replacement: which dimensions to take from the unit.

Ways to order

From taken dimensions

You provide measurements from the unit: diameters, lengths, seatings; the measurement map is G09 in the assistant.

From a drawing

A sketch or drawing with dimensions and materials; tolerances are agreed with the manufacturer.

From a sample

A worn brush or its fragment as the sample, complemented by operating condition data.

What to include in the request

Data set for a made-to-measure brush order

SectionWhat to state
GeometryAll dimensions from the measurement map: diameter, core, lengths, seatings.
FilamentMaterial (PP/PA), intended free length — with a note that the manufacturer selects the final value.
Operating conditionsMaterial, moisture, temperatures, speeds, chevron — as in the assistant.
Special requirementsFood contact, aggressive media, explosive atmospheres — need documented execution.

Limits and caveats

  • The site does not manufacture or approve designs; the request is a document for a manufacturer.
  • Special executions (food, ATEX, aggressive media) must be documented.
  • Comparable offers come from equally complete data in every request.
When this is appropriate: A non-standard unit, a non-standard belt, or the need to reproduce a worn brush exactly. If a standard design fits, it is usually cheaper and faster to buy.

Data completeness in the request is the main factor behind comparable manufacturer offers.
