Section layout along the roller

How many sections of a given width cover the brush working length: full sections, the remainder and the overlapping count.

The length along the axis that cleans the belt.

The axial width of one section.

Enter the length and section width — the result will appear here.

Formulas

full = floor(L/w); remainder = L − floor(L/w)·w; to overlap = ceil(L/w); excess = ceil(L/w)·w − L.

Example

L = 850, w = 100 → 8 full, remainder 50, to overlap 9, excess 50 mm.

Limits

  • Sections are integer: fractional values round by geometric meaning, not to favour installation.
  • The calculation ignores joints, gaps and spacers — the unit design defines them.
  • With very many sections the visualization is schematic; the numbers stay exact.
Caveat:Coverage arithmetic. Not a specification and not permission to install a specific design.
